Saying What You Really Want To Say

Have you ever been talking to someone you are interested in dating and wished you had put your shoe in your mouth instead of saying anything at all? 1) Remember you will not always say things perfectly. Plan to make a few mistakes, but when you make a mistake don´t focus on it. If you pay a lot of attention to it others will as well.

2) Don´t overtalk. Most people make their biggest mistakes by saying more than they should. Listening can be your greatest asset.

3) If you don´t know what you want to say, take some time to evaluate what you are really wanting to say. This is very important in communicating your truest feelings. Many people say things before they process how they really feel. Your greatest advantage in communicating may be waiting to talk until you are clear on what you want to say. Some people find it is helpful to write down their thoughts so they can see them on paper.

4) If you really like someone tell them. There is nothing wrong with being open and honest with someone. If they are a person who is worth your time they will either respond in a positive manner or they will politely decline your offer. No matter what if you are open and honest they will know how you feel.
